Avenam Community Biogas Plant built in Bayelsa State to generate electricity for the community. Toilets were built for the community, so that the waste from toilets can be used as feedstock for the biogas plant. Borehole was dug for the community to have constant water for flushing the toilet after use, and clean water for domestic use. Plant is designed to use human waste and any organic waste as feedstock for biogas production.
